Tractor Time

I caught Papaw & Brady reading his tractor book (in between plays of the basketball games of course). We had a wonderfull time with Nana & Papaw during spring break!

Blake & Brady

Nicole just sent me some pictures of our boys playing together during one of their play-dates. Brady loves going over there - Blake has a full Thomas the Train set, which is Brady's new obsession!

Girls's Night Out

On Saturday night, my friend Nicole and I, along with some other girls went out for a night on the town. We all went to dinner and afterward went to the Aaron Tippin concert here in town. It was a really good concert and we got really good seats (thanks Nicole!). The rest of the girls stayed out later, but I called it a night early. Can't wait to do it again!

I Love Birthdays!

Today was my 27th birthday, and my family decided that we needed to celebrate with a Spongebob Squarepants- themed party! No matter what party we have planned for any birthdays, I make a point of always having a little party with just us and a homemade cake (Brian chose to forgo that, but that was probably to our benefit). Unfortunately, something set Brady off and he decided to have a temper tantrum during the actual "party". I think it was when we tried to put a paty hat on him. Oh well, we've learned to ignore it and enjoy the moment. Now I'm excited to have another cake with Nana & Papaw in a few days when they're down to visit!

How cute are my kids!?!?

Tractor PJ's

Here is Brady modeling the first thing that I've made for him...I figured it was about time!

Model For a Minute :)

I have to say, there is not many things that can make a girl feel as good as being able to fit into a dress that a supermodel wore! The dress came in last night, and I can't be any happier with it! It's even more beautiful in person. I LOVE looking at the construction of it (since it had to be put together in 1 day). I LOVE thinking that the fabric came from the coolest store in the world (Mood). I LOVE how good of a designer that Anthony is. I LOVE how slipping into it makes a housewife feel like a million bucks...basically I LOVE everything about it! LOL
Now, after having a few more days of putting it on and prancing around the house in it, we're going to put it safely into a display case with the magazine and the card Anthony wrote me. Now Anthony just needs to win the show!!!

April 2010 Marie Claire :)

How beautiful! The cover for the April Marie Claire just came out! This is the one where Heidi Klum is wearing the winning design that Anthony made of an episode of Project Runway. Well, Brian won the dress for me in an auction, and it's supposed to be here tomorrow! YAY! Also, Anthony was sweet enough to send me a VERY nice card in the mail last week :) GO ANTHONY!!!!!!

Beautiful Day :)

Today was such a beautiful day, that we just had to get out and enjoy it. We got out and played on the trampoline and played basketball. Then we took a walk down the the pond to feed the fish. Days like this get me so excited for spring!

Loving the swing

Loving the hair

Brady now LOVES to "skip rocks" in the water! He's seen us do it a ba-jillion times...LOL

Go-Kart Time

Yesterday Brian got a go-kart out and played for a few minutes. Since it was such a beautiful day out, Brady, Copper and I sat in the bed of the truck and watched the action :)

Uncle Jimbo & The Girls

This past Friday, Brian's Uncle Jim and his grand-daughters down from Springfield to stay the night with us. We don't get to see them very often, so it's really nice when we do. Aunt Donna went to KC for work, so they decided to come down and play!

Flying with Daddy

Yesterday, the kids got to have a TON of fun and go flying with Brian. He's been working on getting our little "putt-putt" up to his standards, and decided that it was time to get the kids up in it for the first time. Brady and Jolee had such a good time! Brady's flown alot, but most of it was before he was a year old. Now, he's obsessed with anything that flies, and he now understands that he was up in the sky like the birds. Since it's only a two seater, the kids had to take turns, and I wasn't able to get up with him. Now Brady's ready to get up in a "hopter" (that's his word for a helicopter)!
