Balancing Act

Well, we have now moved on to working on balance. Brady will now stand on his own for several seconds. He knows it a BIG deal! He gets really excited and claps. So cute! Just show him to the balance beam Jolee! LOL

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Daddy!

Daddy got up and flew around today. Every so often he likes to get up and stretch his wings out. :) He's got some fly-over's planned next month that he's getting ready for. Brady actually looked up in the sky this time when he heard him. He didn't see him, but I think it's pretty cool that he heard his dad in the clouds! LOL

It's almost summer!

Yay! The pool is getting opened up today! We are a family that needs plenty of sunshine, so this is VERY much needed. Bring on the BBQ's!

Happy B-day Gramps!

Today is Mr. T's birthday.....so everyone send him some love today! We love you Papaw!

Brady and the dogs are always checking each other out. If he's anything like his Mom, he'll love them all and want to give every stray a home. For right now though, they adore each other from a distance (considering Abbie outweighs him by about 50 lbs! Gotta love all my babies!

Baths are some of our favorite times in the house! We joke that we might as well put all the houseplants around the sink so they can get watered. I know for a fact that it's Nanna T's favorite time with the Bradster.

Jumpin' Jolee

We just went to the mall the other day and Jolee just HAD to jump on this really cool contraption they had there. It's amazing how adventurous kids are! She's not stopped talking about it since. LOL

Beautiful Day

We just got done having a gorgeous day in WP the other day, and we took the kiddos to the park. For those of you in the Thompson family, it's the same park that Grandpa took us to across from the Armory. The old train car that they had back then is gone, but I still like to think about taking my kids to the same park we used to go to. :)

Well, as cute as it was, it got to be time to get Brady's hair cut. The curls were adorable, but so crazy! Fortunately, Brian's buddy Brody is a barber, so that made it extra fun. He didn't know quite what to think of the razor (as you can see), but as soon as Dad got him a bottle, he was good to go. Big sis was there for moral support and she did a great job. A couple days later she was in her first ever spelling bee, representing Richards Elementary's 1st grade. Although she made it half way, it was a major milestone for her, and we couldn't have been prouder!

First Haircut

Hi all! I know that the Powers' family is a tad late getting on the blogging bandwagon, but, hey-better late than never. Since I am horrible about calling or emailing, this should help keep everyone in the loop. So, please bear with me as I learn to "brag" about my family. LOL
