A few days ago me and the kiddos met up with Josie and Kenny and Shayla to go to Chuckie Cheese. It was kind of a blur (as it always is), but it was tons of fun. Shayla's opening up to the rides and stuff the more she goes. Jolee's getting very close to having enough tickets for the Hannah Montana blanket! LOL

It Came Out!

Last Sunday night, Jolee lost one of her big teeth up front. It had been loose for what seemed like ages, and then it finally came out while we were talking. It was well worth the time, since the tooth fairy was VERY generous that night! :)

Quick Weekend

This weekend Brady and I went to KC for a very fast trip. We stopped in to say hi to Brian's sister and her family first, and then headed into Olathe. I was able to get my hair done and also see my bestie Alicia. And now we get to look forward to getting back up there with both kiddos in 2 days. Yay!

Painting on the River

Nana came down last week to hang out with us and also Aunt Janet that lives just a litle ways from us down on the river. While she was here, we decided we were going to take an afternoon and try painting! While my mom is an artist, she had apparently never tried this kind of painting before (after seeing her finished product I don't believe her!). It was so much fun that we decided it's going to be something we do again VERY soon!

The Powers Fountain

For those of you that aren't aware, our hot tub has been getting "fixed" for what seems like the last 10 years! Well, it's started doing this kinda cool thing, where it will shoot up like a fountain for absolutely no reason at all. I'm kinda wishing it was something I could turn on when people come over! LOL

Fun Friday

Yesterday was a very fun day! Jolee's friend Haley came over and we swam all afternoon. Then, we got stuff together to go down to the pond for a picnic. We all spent the evening down there eating and skipping rocks and listening to the frogs. Then the kiddos fell asleep early! LOL

My Garden :)

I'm rather proud of what I've been able to do with the little time I've had for it. This is one of the few things I've found that I really love to do. I also want to get some apple trees down by the pond, and also some lemon, lime, and orange trees (just in pots, and I bring them inside in the winter). If anyone has some good advice to give this novice, it would be appreciated!
